A Look Back at Virtual Chalk Howard Street 2020
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic Chalk Howard Street moved online for 2020 and hosted a series of Instagram Live events with professional 3D chalk artist and Chicago resident Nate Baranowski. During Instagram Live events, Nate created small-scale, table-top 3D art that features a meal or product from a Howard Street business.
Virtual Chalk Howard Street generated lots of buzz in and around Chicago!

A Look Back at Chalk Howard Street 2019
In July 2019, the inaugural Chalk Howard Street in Rogers Park became Chicago’s first and only major chalk art festival!
The event featured world-renowned 3D and 2D chalk artists, food by local purveyors, opportunities for amateur artists and family-friendly music and entertainment.
We plan to host this street art festival again in the summer of 2021.
